If your computer finds a hardware error when you turn it on, it might not start. If the computer beeps or a light blinks, you can use that error code to attempt to resolve the issue.
Power reset your desktop computer
Perform a power reset (or hard reset) of your desktop computer to clear information from the computer memory without erasing personal data.

Turn off the computer.

Disconnect the AC adapter.

Disconnect all nonessential peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.

Identify the desktop light or beep code
Specific patterns of long and short light emitting diode (LED) blinks, or audible short beeps can help identify a variety of issues.

Use the BIOS Setup Utility to perform a memory self-test.

Remove the four screws around the processor fan in a star pattern, instead of clockwise, to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on the system board.

Pull the fan up and away from the system board, and then set it with the fan facing down on a level surface.

Lightly dampen a cotton swab or microfiber cloth with cleaning solution, such as isopropyl alcohol.
